Penny and Greg spent the weekend with us in Poole
again this weekend. It was such good weather and we were feeling so
homesick that we decided to go in search of a braai. we searched and
searched, high and low, and eventually we triumphed as we stumbled upon
the last braai in the whole hardware store. |

Here we are - slapping another turkey on
the Braai... We even managed to make roosterbrood (500g flour, 1 Castle
Lager, Pinch of Salt)
Check out the seating arrangements! This is
an old couch that one of the guys I work with gave us. It's really ugly,
but it's comfy.

It would take too
long to explain the whole ice-cream ordeal that we always have, but let's
just say that us boys are very grateful to be eating them. I must say,
though, that the girls don't mind help us out when it comes to eating
them. These piccies were take at the entrance to the Poole harbour (Batersea Island in the background).

Here we are just hanging out on the beach again on a
typical English autumn day - sunny and hot with yachts and the Isle of
Wight in the background. What do you mean England isn't normally sunny?
Look at Greg: he's soaking it up!
OK, OK, so this isn't too typical, but it was sunny all
day.

We went for a cruise in the countryside on Sunday. Here
are some pictures of us at Corfe Castle which was stronghold until the
1800's. The remains of the castle and the town is still there.
We went on to Kimmeridge Bay which is an excellent surf
spot when it works (if it ever works). I have seen photos of it, but I am
yet to see it break in person. we had a rad picnic on the hill over
looking the beautiful countryside.
